Plant Signaling & Behavior is a peer-reviewed journal available both in print and online which publishes significant advances on all aspects of plant biology related to topics directly or indirectly linked to the field of plant signaling and behavior. This multidisciplinary journal publishes original research articles, commentaries, and reviews covering the latest aspects of molecular, biological, physiological, electrophysiological and ecophysiological plant sciences. Moreover, manuscripts will be considered which cover all aspects of information acquisition, processing, learning and adaptation, especially as related to diverse environmental stresses.
Plant Signaling & Behavior brings together research from diverse disciplines and subjects, ranging from molecules up to plant communities and plant interactions with other organisms.
Special attention is focussed on the biological processes at several levels of
biological organization in which signaling and communication have central roles. These include:
• Molecules and Organelles • Tissues and Organs • Signal Perception
and Transduction • Signalling Complexes (Signalosomes) • Action Potentials and Hydraulic Signals • Integrative Plant Body and Physiology • Plant and Abiotic Environment • Plant and Biotic Environment
• Information Acquisition and Processing
Plant Signaling & Behavior is an important forum and ideal vehicle for experimental reports in the most competitive and emerging areas for the following reasons: Rapid response to presubmission inquiries, submission by e-mail, rapid review, special submission, rapid publication upon acceptance- abstracts are posted online usually the same day.
Types of Papers
• Reviews • Views and Commentaries • Perspectives • Original Articles • Addenda • Short Communications • New Technologies/Plants as Biosensors • Meeting Reports • Book Reviews
Plant Signaling & Behavior is indexed at Medline and PubMed Central
If you have interesting data, an original hypothesis, or timely commentaries on significant developments related to the topics covered by the Plant Signaling & Behavior, please send your manuscript to one of the Editors-in-Chief.
